On June 25th, 2015, I organised a Fundraising Event at the very beautiful and exotic Restaurant-Bar ARËM in Griffintown.
I had signed up on the annual Tour CIBC Charles-Bruneau (TCCB) 50 km Cycle Tour to help raise funds and awareness for the amazing work done by the Charles-Bruneau Foundation in the research and treatment of Pediatric Cancer. But I felt I wanted do a bit more!
I chose to organise a fun business networking cocktail where 75% of the ticket fee would be donated to the TCCB, and my friend Reza Azarpoor, Owner and Executive Chef of Restaurant-Bar ARËM, immediately agreed to host the event.

Despite only having two weeks in all to organize the event, which included my finding 10 generous sponsors to donate door prizes, publicizing the event on social media, and inviting all my contacts - it was a great success!

One of my good friends, Lise Bousquet, even donated one of her lovely artworks for auction, which was a fun part of the event!

It was a wonderful sunny day, there were over thirty attendees, and in all, I managed to raise close to $500 thanks to ticket sales and generous donations. This event along with my other fundraising acticities trhough friends and social media, I raised $1,200 for the foundation. On behalf of all the small children who have pediatric cancer and myself, thank you from the bottom of my hear to all my family, friends and colleagues for your generous donations.
