Home Buyer’s Plan

You can benefit from this plan if you qualify as a First-time Home Buyer.

The Home Buyer’s Plan is a federal program that allows you to withdraw up to $35,000 from your Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to buy or build a qualifying home.

If you're purchasing with a partner who is also a first-time buyer, they too can withdraw up to $35,000 from their RRSP, for a combined total of $70,000.

These funds will have to be repaid to the RRSP over a period of 15 years, but there is no interest to pay.

Your Mortgage Broker can assist you with this.
